Toombs County Development Authority Targets Industrial Projects with New Construction Project – Spec Building #4, Toombs Corporate Center, Lyons

The Toombs County Development Authority recently accepted proposals for the design-build of a new spec building to be located at Toombs Corporate Center at U.S. Highway 1, Lyons.  Dublin Construction Company was awarded the project at the Authority’s regular monthly meeting on September 17, 2020.  Construction will be completed in early 2021.

Chicken of the Sea Celebrates 10 Years in Toombs County

Chicken of the Sea Georgia recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of its first domestic cannery operation in Toombs County.  The plant opened in 2009 after the American Samoa plant was closed to make the move to Toombs Corporate Center, Lyons, Georgia.
