GDOL Commissioner Mark Butler to Host Summit in Vidalia

ATLANTA – A new partnership between Governor Brian Kemp and state Labor Commissioner Mark Butler will be highlighted on June 19 when the commissioner hosts an employer summit in Vidalia.

The meeting is one in a series of 12 being held throughout the state called Employers in the Know. The meetings offer the commissioner a chance to meet with employers around the state to share the department’s work and hear back from employers on how they can better be served.

Parker’s Donates $3,600 to Support Teachers and Students at Toombs County Schools

Parker’s founder and CEO Greg Parker recently presented a Fueling the Community check for $3,600 to Toombs County Schools. Students joined Toombs County Middle School Principal Dr. Renee Garbutt to accept the donation on behalf of the school system.
